Meet Our

Pastor

&

First Lady

ON BEHALF OF OUR PASTOR, SUFFRAGAN BISHOP THOMAS ALEXANDER, SR., OUR FIRST LADY, MINISTER MARIAN ALEXANDER, AND ALL OF US HERE AT CARSON CHRISTIAN OUTREACH, WE WOULD  LIKE TO TAKE THIS TIME TO JUST SAY THANK YOU FOR  VISITING OUR WEBSITE!

In 1980 we began our walk of faith, as Carson Christian Outreach Church, just Pastor and Sister Alexander  and their three young children.  In May of 1981, we had the Dedication Services for our church, with Bishop Carl W. Stewart, (then a District Elder), officiating.  In 1983, we added the ministry of a Christian School.  Now we are celebrating 40 years in the ministry of Carson Christian Outreach!

Our journey in this ministry has certainly been a walk of faith.  By God's grace we have continued steadfastly, and we can look back with gratitude at things He has allowed us to do in ministry:

  • Many thousands of hours spent in worshiping God and  proclaiming His word.

  • Hundreds of souls baptized in Jesus' name, and filled with God's spirit, the Holy Ghost.

  • Thousands of students blessed to receive Christian education, and hundreds of graduates.

  • At least ten buildings occupied and improved, and six real properties purchased.

  • Two buildings, including our current church/school facility, physically relocated to a new site.

  • Many thousands of community residents have been fed and clothed by our ministries.

Our walk of faith has certainly inspired us with confidence, not in ourselves but in the God who has directed us along the way.   Our blessings have come “Not by might, nor by power, but by (God's) spirit..” (Zechariah 4:6).  Many times we were not able to see our way ...BUT GOD!!  He has never failed us, and has blessed our ministry in so many ways we could not have imagined. We have been blessed with a core group of very faithful members, for which we can't thank God enough!  Jesus said...”behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it ...” (Revelations 3:8).

We pride ourselves in being a loving and friendly church, and we welcome you with open arms to join us for our weekly church services. By God's grace, we will continue spreading the "Good News", the "Gospel of Hope and Salvation"!
